Minerit is a versatile building board, perfected as a result of over 30 years of research and development by Partek, Finland's largest manufacturer of construction materials. Formed under very high pressure, Minerit is a moisture-resistant composition of cement, reinforcing cellulose fibers, and mineral fillers. The result is a high density, stable and inert material which will withstand the severe climatic extremes. An exceptionally smooth surface makes Minerit far easier and more economical to finish than conventional cladding boards. Its superior strength also makes the material much more resistant to damage, both in storage and on site.

Incidental impact, abrasion, and flexing have virtually no effect on Minerit. Despite its hardness, Minerit can be drilled, shaped, sawed or scored and snapped for conventional fitting and fixing. It needs no finishing, whether used inside or out. An alkali- resistant paint will cover in two coats without prior sanding or stabilizing, and the smooth non-absorbent surface is ready to take wallpaper or tiles without pre-treatment. Minerit's surface is perfect for high efficiency adhesive bonding, allowing easy lamination of a wide range of plastics, metals and other durable finishes.
